Report from the Trust

DONATIONS IN MEMORY OF MAX PARKER CONTINUE: The Arkansas Audubon Society Trust continues to receive donations in memory of Max Parker even months after his sad passing. A total of $5,000 has been donated in his memory. His good humor was missed at the spring meeting in Ft. Smith. I wonder what Max would have said at the sight of about 30 Brown-headed Cowbirds on the ground in the feeding station beside the Nature Center. Ugh (thatıs what I said)!.

The Trust's Endowment-Memorial Fund continues to grow with a current total of $115,349.16. Trust investments generate about $7,600 each year, income that the Trustees are able to "invest" or grant toward research or other nature related endeavors.

Donations to the Trust are 100 percent tax deductible. The Trust is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization as determined by the Internal Revenue Service. To make a donation, please make your check payable "AAS Trust" and mail to 804 Konrad Court, Little Rock, Ark. 72223-9201. Anyone wishing to make an anonymous donation to the Trust may do so by requesting anonymity..
